Family and friends are invited to attend our camp show on Friday at
3:00pm at the conclusion of each camp week .

Ballet: Technique, barre, floor stretch to increase balance, turnout &
coordination.

Floor Barre: Increases flexibility, turnout, strengthens & lengthens
muscle groups using therabands, balls & yoga style techniques.

Tap & Percussion: Learn to use your body as an instrument! Live
drums, bring your tap shoes & counteract rhythm from drums to feet.

Dance History: Lecture demonstration class to study history of jazz,
modern ballet & tap with video format.

Jazz Technique: Takes you back to the basics of the jazz of Duke
Ellington to the New Age era of Hip Hop and moves you into
breakdancing.

Creative Movement: Designed for the younger dancer to learn to
express his or her own individuality & feelings of movement & music
to develop their artistic side.

Crafts: Children will create their own Summer Dance Camp
Keepsakes.

Composition & Choreography: Teaches basic tools of how to
create & choreograph your own dances. This class explores the
contemporary approach to choreography through storytelling.

Theatrical Interpretation of Movement & Music: Learn how to
express emotions and experiences of joy, sorrow, anger, excitement
and triumph (among others) through the movement & music. My
belief is that emotions should be brought out of dancers not taught.
This is an open environment to explore basic human emotion through
dance.

Musical Theater: This class is designed to build confidence in
becoming a triple threat. Learn how to recite monologues, voice
project and sing & dance to your favorite Broadway shows.
